Earn Florida Trip Credit
Attention Vocal, Band and Drill Team Members and Parents
Field House Basketball Concession Volunteers Needed!
Working the concessions is a great way to reduce the cost of the Florida Trip. All student and parent hours worked will earn the student Florida Trip credits at a 50/50 split with the Music Boosters. Money earned in 2013 and 2014 will be used for the 2015 trip. Unused credits will go back to the Music Boosters if the student does not attend the 2015 trip. Concession workers are needed on 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, and 11/23. Students and Parents of participants in Vocal, Band, and Drill are encouraged to sign up for one shift each. Enrichment is part of the Music Booster's Mission
The ongoing mission of the music boosters is to foster and encourage student development in the musical arts. Throughout the year the music boosters raise money to provide funds used to purchase instruments, equipment and uniforms. Booster volunteers provide hospitality for both the IHS and visiting bands at football halftime, and also assist with set design/construction and costume design/creation for the madrigal and drama productions. The Music Boosters also offer a musical enrichment grant for eligible students. To get more information about the enrichment grant and other great things the boosters offer, see the boosters website at www.ihsboosters.com.
